The ingredients needed to make spaghetti tomyam:
- Take 4 clove garlic
- Make ready 5 clove shallot
- Prepare 3 red pepper /chili
- Make ready 5 cayenne pepper (red)
- Make ready 1/4 tsp shrimp paste (terasi)
- Take 4 kaffir lime leaf (chop)
- Make ready 50 ml tamarind water ( soak tamarind in 50 ml water,wait for 5 minute )
- Prepare 1/2 cup champignon mushroom ( thin slice)
- Make ready 1/2 cup shrimp ( peel the skin)
- Prepare 1/2 cup squid ( slice like a ring )
- Take 2 tbsp olive oil
- Make ready 1/3 cup seafood stock (from the shrimp's skin) or if u don't like the taste, u can use regular chicken stock
- Take 1 small laos/ lengkuas / galingale (crush it)
- Take 2 stick lemongrass (slice thin the white part)
- Get 1 tsp salt
- Take 2 tsp palm sugar
- Take 1 packages spaghetti ( or u can use any kind of pasta u like ) boil it,follow the direction. drain it.
- Make ready 1 tbsp lemon juice
The words "tom yam" are derived from two Thai words. Untuk tomyam, saya akan make sure dia pedas, masam dan pekat. Tekak saya mmg suka yg masam. Okeh biasanya saya masak tomyam ayam sbb senang & takyah tunggu lama nak empuk mcm daging.
Instructions to make spaghetti tomyam:
- prepare the pan. heat it,add olive oil, add the puree / paste ( garlic, shallot, chayyene pepper, red pepper,shrimp paste) add laos, chopped onion, lemongrass, keffir lime leaf, tamarind water and lemon juice, saute it until the smell is good.
- add the shrimp, squid. stir it until the color of the shrimp is change,and the squid is tender ( about 5 minute ).
- add seafood stock, wait until it's boiling, add spaghetti, stir it.. ad palm sugar,salt. mix it. wait until the stock is shrink but not too dry,still moist. put in on a plate. enjoy the sour,hot and spicy spaghetti in a diffrent way ;)
