The ingredients needed to make Rasmalai:
  1. Prepare 1 litre Cow's Milk
  2. Prepare 1/2 teaspoon corn flour
  3. Get 1 Bowl Sugar
  4. Get 3 and 1/2 bowls water
  5. Prepare 1 and half lemon
  6. Take For making Ras :
  7. Get 1/2 litre Milk
  8. Prepare 2 Tablespoons Milk made
  9. Prepare 1 pinch yellow food colour
  10. Get 4-5 kesar
  11. Get 1/2 teaspoon Green Cardamom powder
  12. Make ready As required dry fruits like Cashew, pisthachew (chopped)
  13. Make ready 1/2 Bowl sugar
Instructions to make Rasmalai:
  1. For making Chena boil milk. Turn off the heat and rest the milk for 5 mins. Then mix equal amount of water and lemon juice. Mix it with milk. So, that chena will form.
  2. Now strain it with a muslin cloth then wash it on running water. Now hang it for 2 hours.
  3. Now transfer it to a large plate and Knead the Dough with cornflour then make small balls like rasogulla balls and just press it a little flat.
  4. For sugar syrup: turn on the gas and place a big vessel. Pour water, when it boils then add sugar. When it dissolves then pour one by one ball into the syrup. Boil it or cook it for 10 mins. Then slow the flame and cook it for another 10 mins. Turn the heat. Cool it completely the balls.
  5. Now in the meantime prepare ras. Turn on the gas place a big kadhai. Boil milk. When it reduces its quality to a little. Mix sugar to it, green cardamom powder, milk made, food colour, kesar and stir it Turn off the heat.
  6. Now press one by one chena balls and pour it all into the milk ras. Let it be there for 5 to 6 hours. Garnish it with pistachio and cashew. Then enjoy.
