The ingredients needed to make Rasmalai:
  1. Make ready 12 rasgullas
  2. Get 1 litre milk
  3. Take 1 tsp Elaichi (Cardamom)powder
  4. Get pinch Saffron
  5. Make ready as needed dry fruit(Chopped pistachios, cashews,almonds)
  6. Take to taste Sugar
Steps to make Rasmalai:
  1. Squeeze the sryup out of the rasgullas softly. Don't press it hard else it'll break.keep aside.
  2. Take a pan, add milk and sugar. Let it boil. Add some nuts, saffron strand and elaichi powder. Let the milk boil for some time,keep stirring in between.(like you do for rabri)
  3. Take the milk out in a bowl or dabba. Add the rasgullas only when the milk is lukewarm (Don't let it cool completely).
  4. Garnish it with pistas,let it cool now in a refrigerator. Serve chilled!!
