- Make ready 6 medium sized lemon
- Take 1.5 tablespoon salt(adjust as per taste)

- Prepare 1 tsp cumin seeds
- Take few curry leaves
- Take 1 tsp turmeric powder

Steps to make Lemon pickle:
- For making the pickle wash the lemons and keep it in water for 3 to 4 hours. Then clean it with dry cloth. No water drop should be left on the lemons.
- Cut each lemon into four pieces. Remove the seeds from lemon. Add salt to these pieces and store them in a glass container.
- Let it rest for 3 to 5 days. Meanwhile shake the container once in a day to mix the pickle. After 3 to 5 days the rind of lemons will get softened and the pickle is ready to eat without tempering it or to enhance the flavour temper it.
- For tempering the pickle heat oil and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds. Allow them to crackle then add ginger garlic paste and saute it till it turns light golden brown.
- Add the lemon pickle pieces, red chilli powder, turmeric and mix well.
