Instructions to make Onion Jeera Pulao:
- Wash peel and chop onion. Grate ginger and tomato.
- Wash and Soak rice for 10 minutes.
- Heat cooking oil in a pressure cooker. Add cumin seeds, cloves, black pepper seeds, cinnamom, cardamom and saute for 1 minute. Add onion and saute till onions turned transculent.
- Add grated ginger and tomato paste and cook till oil leaves the sides of pressure cooker. Add salt and red chilli powder. Saute for 1 minute. Add water. Place the lid and cook till 2 whistles. Switch off the flame and let pressure releases automatically.
- Open the lid.
- Serve onion Jeera pulav with salad and jeera.
