- Make ready 1/4 tsp urad dal

- Prepare 1 tsp Cooking Oil

- Prepare 8-10 curry leaves
- Get 3 tb sp desiccated coconut powder
- Make ready 2 Green chilli

- Take 1/2 tsp eno fruit salt

- Get 1 glass water for steaming
Instructions to make Moong & Urad dal idli:
- Wash both dal 3-4 times in running water to remove its white powder. Soak in water for 2-3 hours.
- Remove excess water and Grind it to a smooth paste.
- Transfer it in a mixing bowl.
- Collect all the ingredients for tempering. Heat oil in a wok. Add mustard seeds saute for 30 seconds. Add urad dal and saute till it gets pink.
- When dal turn pink add curry leaves and dessicated coconut powder.
- Art red chilli, green chilli and onion and saute for 1 minute. Add peanuts and saute again for 2 minutes. Switch off the flame.
- Mix this tempering in dal paste. Add chopped coriander leaves and salt and mix well. Adjust the consistency of mixture by adding water if needed. Add eno and stir well.
- Grease the idli mould and put 1 tb sp mixture in each mould. Place this mould in pressure cooker and place the lid and steam for 12 minutes. Switch off the flame. Open the lid after 15 minutes. Demould idlis.
- Serve hot with sambhar.
