- In a mixer grinder jar take chopped tomato,garlic cloves,green chilli,cloves,black pepper, piece of ginger,1/2 tsp cumin powder and grind it,make a smooth paste.
- Heat oil in a pan,add cumin seeds,asfoetida powder and bay leaves.
- Now add finely chopped onion and stir it for 1 minute on low flame.
- Now add tomato mixture paste,salt and all dry spices,mix it well altogether and stir for 2 minutes or until spices leaves the sides of pan.
- Add boiled split gram and chopped boiled potato,mix nicely along with spices,cook for 2 minutes on medium flame.
- Finally add milk and water as required and cook for more 2 minutes.
- Add chopped coriander leaves, switch off the flame and curry is ready.
