Instructions to make Urad dal:
- Wash the dal and put into a pressure cooker add 1 cup water,onion slices, chopped green chillies, turmeric powder and ginger.add salt. - Pressure cook for 3 whistle on high heat then release the pressure and dal is perfectly cooked.
- For tadka take a pan add oil and heat it.then add onion slices,green chillies and cumin seeds.when they turns golden add Hing and Pour tempering over dal and mix well. Serve with roti or rice.
