- Prepare 1 tsp ginger

- Soaked moong dal for at least over night or 8hrs
- Next day blender moong dal sprout, ginger,chilli, asafoetida, salt and water
- Blend to smooth pastem
- Add rice flour and mixed with the batter
- Add salt to taste, mixed the batter to a dosa consistency, if required u can add water
- Heat a flat pan spread little oil in a pan
- Pour the batter in a pan spread it in a circular motion
- Sprinkle finely chopped the onions inthe dosa
- 5mins cover the lid on the pan otherwise flip the dosa other side
- If the dosa is cooked remove the dosa from the plate
- Serve the dosa with coconut chutney or dried chilli dosa
