- Prepare 1 cup-Basmati rice
- Get 2 tsp-cumin seed
- Take 1 tbsp-ghee

- Wash rice throughly and soak in water for 1/2 an hour. After 1/2 an hour drain the rice.
- Heat ghee in a pan. Add cumin seeds,bayleaf,whole black pepper corn and cinnamon stick.when cumin seeds crackled add the rice. Add salt to taste.
- Stir till ghee coats every grains of rice it looks glossy. Add 2 cup of water.bring to a boil. Stir and reduce heat to minimum and cover the pan.
- Rice will be done when water has been completely absorbed. You see that rice will separates each grains.
- Serve hot with any curry.
