Instructions to make Chicken afghani pulao:
- To start we will prepare pulao masala as mentioned below in picture set aside
- Further peeled & chopped onions now take big nonstick wok add in oil while it’s hot drop in the chopped onions sauté for 2 minutes until it’s slightly golden then add the washed chicken
- While we Sauté chicken we add in ginger garlic paste,salt,black pepper powder,sugar & pulao masala sauté until chicken is golden & coated until brown colour set the flame to very low flame
- Besides will sauté chopped carrots & raisins for 2-3 minutes
- While ready we will pop in all the ghee & carrots in chicken wok roughly stir it & add water accordingly to the rice let it come to a good boiling point now pop in the soaked rice I have soaked it for about an hour
- One it starts boiling will cover the lid & cook for 10 minutes on low flame burner. Once done check the rice strand if it breaks in three parts and the water is soaked it’s ready off the flame let it settle for more 10 minutes by the time just add fried raisins for garnishing.
- Now it’s ready to serve enjoy the delicious chicken afghani pulao at home I have tried mutton afghani pulao many times this time I tried with chicken it’s delicious as well alhumdulillah…!
